Frieda Dietrich
30 years as counselor
Frieda is a highly experienced counselor who has worked in various international schools around the world – The Netherlands, India, Thailand, Egypt, Singapore and the US. Her experience has contributed to a robust awareness of the rich cultural profiles of students from more than 50 countries.
Frieda has done post-graduate work (ABD) in school counseling at Colorado State University, holds a Masters in Special Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a BA in English Literature from Wayne State College.
Currently an active member of IntlACAC, this past July she met with 175+ university representatives at their annual counselor/admissions conference.
Frieda has presented numerous sessions at national and international conferences on topics related to the university search process. Always one to focus on taking the road less traveled, Frieda is especially interested in working with students who are seeking more than the “same ole, same ole” route to their ultimate career destination.
